Roll Terms of Use

Effective date: October 24, 2026

These terms cover your use of Roll, made by Luis Angel Arvelo Perez ("we").

1. Licence

Roll is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

That agreement is the licence for Roll. The rest of these terms add the details of Roll Pro subscriptions and of what Roll does to your photo library. If anything here conflicts with Apple's agreement, Apple's agreement wins.

2. Free tier and Roll Pro

Roll is free to download. The free tier includes your first 50 cleanups (deleting, moving to albums and squishing). Roll Pro removes that limit.

Roll Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store:

Prices are in US dollars; the App Store shows the price for your country and currency before you confirm, and that is the price you pay. Taxes may apply.

3. Auto-renewal

4. Free trial

If you start the 3-day free trial of the annual plan, you won't be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to the annual plan and your Apple Account is charged $29.99 (or the local price shown in the App Store) for the first year. The trial is available once per Apple Account. If you buy a subscription during the trial, any unused part of the trial ends.

5. Managing and cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone, or in your Apple Account settings in the App Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Roll Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

To restore Roll Pro on a new or reset iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall.

6. Refunds

Apple processes all payments, so refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.

7. Your photos and what Roll changes

Roll only changes your photo library when you tell it to:

These are your decisions. Roll's suggestions (what looks like a duplicate, blurry, a screenshot or worth squishing) come from automated on-device analysis and can be wrong, so check before you confirm. Sizes and savings shown in the app are estimates. Keep your own backup of anything you can't afford to lose; we are not responsible for photos or videos you delete or replace, including after they leave Recently Deleted.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Roll handles your information: https://roll.delavalom.com/privacy

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update this page and change the effective date above. Continuing to use Roll after a change means you accept the updated terms.
